Gora Kadan was once the summer residence of the Kaninnomiya Imperial family, chosen for its picturesque spot in the natural surroundings of Hakone National Park.
This charming property is now one of Japan's most luxurious ryokans. Its Tatami-style rooms have low futon beds, large wooden bathtubs, and floor to ceiling windows with views onto the Japanese garden.
