The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable. Set in the centre of town, everything to see and discover is right on your doorstep. Take an afternoon to visit the nearby 18th-century stepwell, whose restoration Raas contributed towards, and be awed by its rich history and architecture. The real beauty is that, when it all gets too much (the hustle and bustle can sometimes be a little overwhelming), you are mere minutes away from retreating back into your calm oasis, ready to be welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff.
Original charm
The conversion of this beautiful Maharajah’s residence is certainly stylish and sophisticated, but what Raas have done so brilliantly is keep its original charm and Rajistani style at the fore. We love how tradition still flows throughout the hotel and you get a real sense of place being here. Sit on your private balcony and enjoy a refreshing drink in the hot evening air gazing at the magnificent fort views. This hotel certainly delivers the best of both worlds.
