Enjoy alfresco dining in the open air restaurant, sampling dishes full of fresh, home-grown vegetables while admiring the view. Pick a lazy afternoon to roam around the resort’s 4 hectares of parkland, admiring the local flora and fauna, and dive into adventure and culture by kayaking down the river to see local fishermen at work.
Environment & Local Community
Supporting the environment and local community is an important part of life at The River Resort. They are committed to being as eco-friendly as possible, using solar power to heat the water, growing their own vegetables to be used throughout the resort, and recycling non-organic refuse. More than 90% of the staff here are from local villages and they also provide ongoing support for local children's education.
