It's all good news in February with excellent weather experienced throughout Cambodia. The hottest months of the year are just around the corner so you can expect temperatures to gradually rise throughout the month. Despite this, February is considered ‘relatively’ cool, averaging around 27°C across the country.
Pleasant temperatures and dry days make long days at the Angkor temples and exploring the north east regions of Mondulkiri and Ratanakiri far more manageable, although lunch time shade is still most welcome.
Along the entire selection of south coast - and on the sands of Koh Rong, Sihanoukville and Kep - you can expect dry, hot weather. February continues to offer excellent conditions for diving, with warm sea temperatures and good visibility, especially around the tropical islands of Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem.
Likewise in the Cardamom and Tatai region you should expect undisturbed blue skies and sunshine. Further north Phnom Penh, Battambang and Siem Reap Province are hot and dry and still not wiltering under the mercury pushing temperates that are a feature a few months later.
