You can expect excellent weather throughout Cambodia in March. Days are dry and sunny with little or no rainfall, and temperatures average around 30°C across the country, although cooler temperatures can be experienced in the north east regions of Mondulkiri and Ratanakiri.
With the mercury on the rise, long days exploring the Angkor Temples can be hard work and therefore early starts and a break back at your hotel in the middle of the day are recommended. Throughout the March the chances of rain are almost non-existent and any cooling, early monsoonal winds, just as lacking.
Despite rising temperatures March is amongst the best months to travel to any corner of the country. The south coast beaches of Koh Kong, Sihanoukville and Kep continue to bask in sunshine with the chance of rain extremely unlikely, making March a good month for diving.
